Hi, everyone. I know, been a long time since I've sent out one of these email notifications. Just wanted everyone to know that my old short story collection, Christmas Trees & Monkeys, originally published in 2002, has been released as an ebook by Necon eBooks (http://www.neconebooks.com/). For only $2.99, you can get it in every version (Kindle, Nook, PDF) for every ebook reader, directly from the site, or you can now order directly from Amazon and/or your Kindle at:
http://www.Amazon.com/Christmas-Monkeys-Contemporary-Horror-ebook/dp/B0051EZX2U/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&m=AG56TWVU5XWC2&s=books&qid=1305810982&sr=8-5
Or directly from Barnes & Noble / your Nook at:
http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Christmas-Trees-Monkeys/Dan-Keohane/e/2940012471031/
As with the original print edition, 100% of author proceeds from the sale of this ebook will be donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
For more info, you visit at http://www.dankeohane.com/.
Some more pretty big news coming soon, before the summer is out, I think. But for now, go on out and grab a copy of CT&M, and tell your friends. :-)
Thanks

Christmas Trees & Monkeys Now Available as ebook!
My first short story collection, Christmas Trees & Monkeys, Collected Horror Stories Volume 1, is now available as a Kindle, Nook, what have you, ebook from the fine folks at Necon eBooks! With brand new cover art by the venerable Kelli Jones, the collection is much the same as the original, with minor tweaks in some of the introductions, but for the low price of 4.99, can't beat it. Also, as with the print edition, 100% of author proceeds will be donated to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Right now the book is available direct fron Necon eBooks, but they'll soon be available directly from Amazon and Barnes & Noble. I'll let you know when they are, but note that we make a better profit if ordered directly from the publisher (who emails you every ebook version directly, which is pretty cool).
OK, let me know what you think.

Dan News - Long Overdue Update
Hi, everyone. I apologize for taking so long since my last email newsletter. I've been trying to keep my website (www.dankeohane.com) and facebook (http://www.facebook.com/people/Dan-Keohane/1175730240 ..I think that's the link) page up-to-date, but I know not everyone gets to these. So, to catch you up:
* Next Wednesday, January 19, at 6:30 p.m. Morven Westfield (Darksome Thirst, The Old Power Returns), Tracy Carbone (The Man of Mystery Hill) and I will be taking part in a reading, signing and panel discussion on using local settings in their works of horror, among other topics, for the WEST BOYLSTON ARTS FOUNDTION, in West Boylston, MA. Event begins at 6:30 p.m. at West Boylston's Beaman Memorial Library. All are welcome and attendance is free. For directions, visit http://www.beamanlibrary.org/directions.html
* My latest short story, "Last Halloween," is currently featured in the special Halloween issue (issue #10) of Shroud magazine. You can order a copy of the issue at http://www.shroudmagazine.com/ . You may also still be able to find a copy in Barnes & Noble and other major magazine racks, but if you want to be sure of getting a copy, probably best order online. If you do see the magazine in stores, let me know.
* My story collection from 2002, CHRISTMAS TREES & MONKEYS, is coming soon to the Kindle, and all other e-reader formats. Necon E-Books, a new e-book venture begun by the Booth family (who run the annual Necon writers conference), will be publishing the collection and making it available everywhere. Contracts are signed, and new cover art is being finalized. Once done, it will be made available soon afterwards. I kept the format and content of this edition much the same as the original, with some minor updates here and there. As with the printed edition, all author royalties for the ebook will go to the National MS Society.
* I haven't done one in a while, but I've been doing the occasional movie review for Cinema Knife Fight (www.cinemaknifefight.com), the Bram Stoker Award nominated horror/sci-fi/fantasy movie review site run by L.L.Soares and Michael Arruda. Running a bit behind on doing these, but I do have a 2010 Year In Review recently posted at the site.
Thanks
Dan
